this is a template to keep track of the 2025 f1 season. to make a copy, hit the duplicate button on the top right. below are some tips for using this template.
lights out and away we go:
- the countdown/weather widgets have to be updated for every race. I’m not sure if these will auto-update for everyone when I update them for myself, but if not, you can make your own for free on https://indify.co/
schedule:
- I created pages for the first few races of the season, but you’ll have to make the rest. the template has all the necessary fields, so it’s just a matter of filling those in.
- all the information can be pulled from here: https://www.formula1.com/en/racing/2025
- if you click on each individual race, you can find all the session times, as well as circuit stats (on the right).
- to get the circuit images: from circuit stats, right click the image of the circuit and select “copy image address.” then, hit “change cover” on the race page in notion, select “link,” and paste in the image address.
- also, be mindful of time zones—everything I’ve filled in is in EDT (GMT-4), which you might have to change.
- there are instructions under the results sections for each session for transferring the correct results view into the race page.
results and standings:
- I’ve set the results database up so that if you input all the race and sprint results, it will automatically calculate a driver and team’s points tally, which you’ll be able to see in standings.
- in order to make sure this works correctly, make sure Pos. is written as a plain number, the driver and constructor properties are filled in, and you’ve listed all the points-scoring postions.
- again, I created the views for the first few races, but you’ll have to make the rest. I suggest you do this by going into one of the existing views (e.g., Australia Race), duplicating it, and then changing the filter so it reflects the correct round/session. then, just fill in positions 1-20.
- for the standings, notion won’t let you order the drivers/teams by the total points sum, so my solution is manually adjusting the number in front of the name based on championship order. make sure you write numbers as 01, 02, etc.
journal:
- this section is pretty straightforward! just click to make a new entry and add tags as you’d like
